Traxxas Slash
Body: All trucks may use any body made specifically for the Traxxas Slash. NO alterations may be made to the body. Must be cut out along molded cut lines.
Chassis: No modifications may be made to the chassis system. Vehicle must be raced in original stock form. Original Traxxas replacement parts only, as supplied on original truck, for damaged/worn parts unless otherwise stated.
RPM rear hubs (#80382) and RPM rear tower (#80832) are allowed.
Suspension: Both the front & the rear suspension systems must remain in stock form. Original Traxxas parts only. NO aftermarket/hop up replacement components may be installed including metal parts.
Legal Tuning Parts – Original Traxxas kit shock springs must be used (5857, 5858)
Original plastic shock bodies must be used (no metal bodies)
Shock cap may be replaced with alum shock cap part #2667.
Shock oil may be changed. Pistons and limiting may be changed.
Original Traxxas turnbuckles must be used. Part #3644 and #3745.
Steering: No modifications may be made to the steering system. Original kit parts only. You may install any servo saver or servo drive horn that you so choose.
Bearings: Any manufacturer bearing may be used.
Electronics: Original RTR Kit electronic Speed Control (XL-5) & Servo (2075) only. You may install any receiver you so choose. On board traction/drift device or gyro’s NOT permitted
Motor: This class is restricted to a stock Traxxas Titan 12T R/C motor #3785.
Battery: This class is limited to any 1 - 7.2 volt 8.4 “Nicad” or “Nimh” made up of 6 or 7 “SubC” size cells, or 1 - 2S 7.4 volt lipo battery pack up to a 5000 mah hard pack up to 28c
Wheels: Any 2.2” wheel made specifically for the Traxxas Slash
Tires: Any 2.2” tire made specifically for the Traxxas Slash
Drive line: Only the original Traxxas drive train may be used. No aftermarket or hop up replacement drive components may be installed. Traxxas steel planetary gear differential only. Any of the 3 Traxxas spur gears (4683, 4686 or 4690) are permitted. Any pinion gear that mounts without modifications needed may be used.
Ball differentials are NOT permitted in the Spec Class
Weight: Truck must weigh no less than 4.75 pounds ready to race.

Must have scale appearing cage, hood, side panels, nerf bars and bumpers. Minimum of a 4 post cage required that resembles a drivers cockpit. A driver arm guard area is permitted on right side panel bust must be of reasonable size. All electronics, radio gear, fuel tanks must be positioned inside the cage side frames. Rear cage side panels may be used but may not extend beyond rear cage frame. No lexan or any other material may be mounted to nerf bars, bumpers, cage, wing or any other part of the car that will trap, alter, or direct air flow for the purpose of gaining an aerodynamic advantage. Must have appropriate openings on both sides of cage in driver compartment, forward portion of side panels can be no taller than highest point of hood, no solid side panels.

Center section and side panels must be made from at least 3 separate pieces of polycarbonate, carbon or aluminum material. All corners and edges must be rounded and free of sharp edges. Main and Front wings must be mounted so that they are centered on cage, no offset wings. Wing center sections must have all 4 corners set at 90 degree angles, no canted or angled panels. Wings must also be mounted level from side to side. Center section of wing may not extend beyond leading or trailing edge of side panels. Side panels must have braces that hold side panel rigid at 90deg. to center section during race conditions. Two braces are required from top of the center foil to the left sideboard and one brace is permitted below the center foil to the right side board. Braces can be a maximum of .750" wide and front edge of front brace must be no more than 1.5” back from side panel leading edge. Side Panels may have front, back, top and bottom turnouts of no more than .375" and are included in max dimension. FLAT FOILCENTER SECTIONS ONLY! .250” turndown at the leading edge. NO ADD-ONS OF ANY KIND!

Losi 1/18 Late Model
Racers will have a choice of stock Losi motor or the 4200kv mamba brushless motor. If the stock motor is used you cannot modify it in any way and must use stock Losi ESC. This may change as we go.
